With the Wedding Season fast approaching our attention turns to the numerous Wedding Fairs spread wide and far across the country enticing us with there exceptional wares and their unique concept for your big day.

Every girl, including myself, loves the hunt for the perfect dress! When we chose a cancellation date for our wedding, leaving just 3 weeks to do EVERYTHING it wasnt the easiest job in the world but we did it and it was wonderful. I did yern for a 50s cut or vintage inspired dress. Like most things that i want bad enough to spend hours and hours just on research i didnt have time to have my wish.

 This one i WOULD of had!

I do however wish i had comes across www.harlequinfox.com during my pain staking research as the very lovely Natasha creates THE most stunning Wedding Dresses ive come across in a VERY long time. Not only are they simply stunning, they are handmade, yes i said it HANDMADE! They capture the beauty of the original styling with their exquisite detailing and textured fabrics and are simply  enough to make any girl weep!

Harlequin Fox Bridalwear is a bespoke bridal dressmaking service established by London-based designer, Natasha Shaw.  A lover of all things vintage, her work combines contemporary dressmaking with a touch of old world charm.

Specialising in styles inspired by the 1920's - 1960's, she makes wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, evening gowns, corsets and bridal accessories such as veils, ring cushions and hairpieces.

All her creations seek to bring out the individuality of her clients, therefore she offers a free initial consultation to discuss design ideas and requirements, as well as the all-important  fabrics and trimmings!  Her gowns are then individually handmade to complement the shape and character of her clients, using the classic techniques of couture tailoring.

Aphrodite Wedding Shoot

Last week was the shoot with Aphrodite Weddings which i provided an abundance of jewellery for from hair slides to rings, gotta over all the bases just in case!!
We have received some images back from Tony Jones Photography and they look amazing!!
So without further a do...

 Here we have an up cycled vintage necklace, that was surprisingly originally a pair of earrings.

 A gorgeous brass tone locket necklace.

 A brass and cream pearl bracelet.

And this stunner is brass with a large amber charm.


The photos look amazing and it was great taking part in such a huge shoot!!

AphroditeNet Wedding Photography is pleased to announce details of our forthcoming autumn bridal fashion photo shoot.

We will be using wedding dresses from ‘Forever Yours’ bridal boutique of Rye, East Sussex, who have a large and stunning collection of designer wedding gowns. We have commissioned some gorgeous vintage inspired jewellery from Lizzie of ‘La Chic Unique’, and will also be working with the hugely talented Tiggy of ‘Tiggy Johnson Bespoke Florist’ and ‘Idyllic Days’. Accessories for our shoot have also been provided by ‘Vintage Amethyst’. The beautiful Jamie Collins has been cast as our model. We are looking forward to working with Jamie to create some wonderful images which we hope will prove inspirational to prospective brides when planning their wedding!

With such a strong creative team involved in this shoot, we had to look for a special venue, and have chosen The House Meadow at Biddenden, Kent. The House Meadow is a unique wedding venue - a working farm set in the beautiful Kent countryside, with plenty of rustic country charm!

Modern vintage continues to be big news as we go into autumn, with traditional country crafts being resurrected throughout the UK and retro style weddings, complete with vintage china table settings, continuing to be popular… We are hoping to incorporate some of this modern vintage style into our photo shoot, with an added Kentish inspired twist!

We will keep you informed as our plans for the shoot progress!
